Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about MyCareerTeam, agents, and workflows.

Do I need a paid ChatGPT plan?

No. MyCareerTeam agents work with ChatGPT Free, Plus, and Team plans. Some agents produce longer outputs that benefit from the extended context window in Plus, but every workflow is designed to work within the free tier.

What happens when I paste a command into ChatGPT?

The command tells ChatGPT which MyCareerTeam agent to activate and what task to perform. For example, "GUIDED | 1 | Senior Frontend Engineer" tells the system to run Goal 1 (Rebuild CV / LinkedIn) targeting a Senior Frontend Engineer role.

Can I use agents individually without a workflow?

Absolutely. Workflows chain multiple agents together, but every agent can be called on its own. Just navigate to the agent detail page and copy its standalone command.

What is the difference between Starter, Pro, and Elite?

Starter covers resume building and job matching basics. Pro adds interview preparation, networking outreach, and career positioning. Elite includes salary negotiation, offer comparison, and long-term career strategy.

How do handoff blocks work between agents?

When an agent completes its task, it outputs a structured handoff block. You can paste this block into the next agent in the workflow, or save it to your Clipboard for later use. See the Handoff Blocks guide for the full format.

Can I use this on my phone?

Yes. The "Copy mobile command" feature on the Launchpad gives you a short text string you can paste directly into the ChatGPT mobile app. No desktop required.

How do I unlock a higher Team?

Locked team gates on the Launchpad show an Unlock button. Clicking it will take you to the unlock flow. Once your Team access is upgraded, all relevant agents and workflows unlock immediately.

Is my data stored anywhere?

MyCareerTeam does not store your resume, job descriptions, or personal data. Everything runs through your own ChatGPT conversations. The Clipboard on the Launchpad is local to your browser session.
