Getting started

How to use MyCareerTeam with ChatGPT to run your job search.

The airport metaphor

Think of this as your Career HQ -- like an airport. This dashboard is your terminal. ChatGPT is the airplane that does the heavy lifting. The Guide (what you are reading now) is your control tower -- it tells the plane where to go and what to carry.

You do not need to learn complicated tools. You paste a command into ChatGPT, and the agent does the work. Results come back as handoff blocks you can copy, edit, and reuse.

How it works in 3 steps

1. Pick your goal

On the Launchpad, choose what you want to accomplish -- rebuild your CV, tailor an application, prepare for interviews, or plan your full search strategy.

2. Copy the command

MyCareerTeam generates a short command like GUIDED | 1 | <Target Role>. Paste it into ChatGPT (works on mobile too).

3. Collect your handoffs

The agent returns structured handoff blocks. Copy them into the Clipboard on the Launchpad, or pass them to the next agent in a workflow.

What is a team?

Agents are organized into three teams based on what stage of the job search they support. The Starter Team covers resume and application basics. The Pro Team adds interview coaching and networking. The Elite Team handles offer negotiation and career strategy.

Your Team determines which agents are unlocked. You can always see all teams on the Launchpad, but locked ones show an unlock prompt.
